Author and Submission Guidelines

Please find author and submission guideline documents below. Authors are encouraged to submit concise, accessible briefing papers (approximately 2,000 words, excluding references) that engage with contemporary security issues in the Solomon Islands and the wider Pacific.

Submissions should be clearly written, evidence-informed, and relevant to policy and practice. Detailed guidance on formatting, structure, referencing, and the editorial review process is provided in the full Author Guidelines. Contributors are strongly encouraged to review these documents prior to submission.

Where a paper includes sensitive or classified empiriral data/information relating to the Solomon Islands Government (SIG), authors must obtain appropriate clearance from the relevant Permanent Secretary. A completed Clearance of Sensitive/Classified SIG Information Form and written approval from the Permanent Secretary of the originating Minsitry must be submitted alongside the final paper. Submissions that do not meet these requirements will not be considered for publication.

Finalised papers and all required documentation should be submitted to: Editor.Series@sinu.edu.sb
