SINU Marketing & Public Relations Office

Overview

The Marketing & Public Relations Office acts as a bridge between the University and the local, regional, and international community in order to carry out our objective, which is to cultivate relationships and effectively tell "the SINU narrative" to our local and global audiences.
In addition to promoting campus events through internal and external university communications, publications, and advertising, the department of marketing and public relations advances and safeguards SINUโ€™s reputation through earned media and the management of relationships with the media. It also makes the public aware of the activities and accomplishments of the university's students, faculty, and staff.

The Marketing and Public Relations Office core responsibilities are to maintain media communications and public relations, processes, and procedures.

We prioritise identifying, writing, pitching, and monitoring stories about the activities of SINU, its Faculties, social groups, and external activities that enhances the image of SINU. We also focus on developing news content for social media platforms such as the SINU Facebook page, SINU Univois newsletters, SINU SIBC Radio Programs, website content and other content for public digestion.

The office is located at the SINU Kukum Campus, Pro Vice-Chancellorโ€™s Office that once served as the Student Academic Services Office during SICHE years. It was renovated in 2020 and now houses two departments under the Pro Vice-Chancellor Corporate โ€“ Institutional Planning Division & the Marketing and Public Relations Office.
