Unit Title: Food Management

This course helps you understand what management is, its theories and approaches, principles, process, and application to food establishments. It will equip you with basic knowledge, understanding and skills in food and beverage management; safety and sanitation standards; institutional and special functions/occasions menu development; financial management and cost control strategies; entrepreneurial ventures; and the relevant business laws; in order to make effective decisions in relation to the management of food economics, resources, nutrition and health.
