Members of the Solomon Islands National University (SINU) Campus Life, Welfare and Sport Team have successfully completed the FIVB Level 1 Volleyball Coaching Course.
This internationally recognised entry-level certification, delivered in partnership with the Solomon Islands Volleyball Federation (SIVF), equips participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills required for volleyball coaching and player development.
Representing SINU at the training were:

- William Tuhaika – Campus Life, Welfare and Sport
SINU extends its appreciation to the Solomon Islands Volleyball Federation (SIVF) for the invitation to participate in this valuable training opportunity. The participants expressed their enthusiasm and readiness as they prepare to support the upcoming SINU Volleyball League.
This achievement marks another step forward in strengthening SINU’s commitment to holistic education, where academic excellence is complemented by vibrant extracurricular and sporting opportunities. By investing in professional development, the University continues to build capacity in sports leadership and coaching, ensuring that students benefit from quality programs, mentorship, and a positive sporting environment.
The Campus Life, Welfare and Sport team will continue to collaborate with national sports federations to provide similar training opportunities that enhance sports development across the University.
