FEH AND SEWA STUDENT ASSOCIATION RECOGNISED AT SINU OPEN DAY 2026

The Faculty of Education and Humanities (FEH) and the SEWA Student Association were recognised during the Solomon Islands National University (SINU) Open Day 2026 for their outstanding contributions to the event.
FEH received the Best Booth Award in recognition of its creativity, teamwork, cultural significance, and educational presentation. Inspired by the coconut tree, the booth showcased FEH’s vision, values, academic programmes, and contribution to education and national development. The booth also featured the Tomoko canoe from Western Province, symbolising unity, cooperation, and collective responsibility.
Meanwhile, the SEWA Student Association received the Best Cultural Performance Award for its impressive panpipe performance, which showcased Solomon Islands culture, musical talent, creativity, and student unity.

Representatives from FEH and the SEWA Student Association received their certificates on Monday, 24 August 2026, in recognition of their achievements during SINU Open Day 2026.
Both achievements highlight the talent, teamwork, and cultural pride of SINU staff and students and contributed to the success of SINU Open Day 2026.
