Unit Title:Β Enterprise Education
This unit offers students an opportunity to reflect on enterprise education as a transformative experience capable of creating an entrepreneurial mindset. Students will be supported to develop a pathway toward business start-up and the specific skills required to do so in the future. It will also challenge teacher trainees on how to infuse the concepts of enterprise and entrepreneurial practice into the current national curriculum subjects and school culture. Students will be challenged to develop a school brand name, and a business concept that the school could employ to generate income as a business entity. Students should develop these abilities which will benefit them later in life as an entrepreneur, employees and citizens of the global community.
