Unit Title: Distributed DBMS

A distributed database management system (DDBMS) is a centralized software system that manages a distributed database in a manner as if it were all stored in a single location. This unit is an extension of CSC503 Database Management unit. Students will learn the additional features of databases and processors in the sites that are connected via a network. Students will also do the practical parts and factors encouraging DDBMS and know the in-depth knowledge of the advantages and adversities of Distributed Databases.
