Solomon Islands National University (SINU), Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC), Centre for Islands Futures (CIF) and WorldFish staff met on Wednesday 2 September at Ranadi Campus to discuss student research and internships conducted in marine, aquatic and terrestrial environments.

Challenges and opportunities were discussed, along with learnings from recent internships at the Nusatupe Innovation Hub in Western Province. Staff agreed to pursue further collaboration around research, institutional policy and procedures, and sharing learnings with national and regional scientific and policy networks.

This work is part of the CGIAR Food Frontiers and Security Science Programme and funded by the Asian Development Bank.
