The Director of Institutional Planning and Development at the Solomon Islands National University (SINU), Mr. Darius Ramo, delivered an inspiring keynote address at the Adaua Secondary School Graduation Ceremony 2025, held on Friday, 24 October 2025, under the theme “Empowering Future through Education.”

Speaking as Guest of Honour, Mr. Ramo commended the dedication and perseverance of the graduating students, teachers, parents, and the wider Adaua community. He described the occasion as “a moment when hard work meets success and dreams meet reality.”

Mr. Ramo reminded the graduates that education goes beyond academic achievement, it is about building character, unlocking potential, and preparing to serve the nation with purpose and humility. Encouraging them to move forward with faith, courage, and determination, he quoted Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”

Highlighting SINU’s ongoing commitment to nurturing future leaders, Mr. Ramo urged the students to consider pursuing further education at the Solomon Islands National University and other local institutions. He described SINU as “the nation’s hub for knowledge, skills, and innovation,” and encouraged communities and leaders to continue investing in education as the cornerstone of national development.

Mr. Ramo concluded by congratulating the graduating class of 2025, urging them to “soar to new heights with courage, faith, and determination.”

The Solomon Islands National University congratulates all graduates, teachers, parents, and community leaders of Adaua Secondary School for their commitment to education and youth empowerment. SINU remains steadfast in its mission to support students and schools across the Solomon Islands in building a brighter and more educated future for the nation.
