Bachelor of Nursing – Acute Care Nursing

Admission Requirements


The normal entry criterion for this degree is University Entrance. Registered Nurses may enter directly into the 4th year of the degree if they meet the following criteria;

  1. Is a practicing Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years post registration practice plus one of the following ;
    1. Holds a Diploma in Nursing in SICHE or equivalent or;
    2. Holds a Certificate of Nursing, plus has completed an In-service Diploma, a bridging programme or equivalent course or;
    3. Has completed another 3 year nursing programmes plus has completed an In-service Diploma, a bridging programme or equivalent courses.
