Unit Title: Introduction to Organizing Tournaments and Sports in Secondary Schools
This unit introduces student teachers to different types of tournament and aims to equip students with the knowledge, understanding and skills to organise various tournament in schools and community settings. Acquiring the above knowledge, skills and understanding which enhance the quality of physical education delivery in the secondary schools. The focus of the unit is on planning, organising and incorporating various tournament in physical education program. The students will be given the opportunity plan and organise mini-tournaments in their practical session as part of their practical assessment. The unit further give the students to explore how events and tournaments are organised nationally and internationally.
