Unit Title: Second Language Acquisition
In this unit you will discover the concept of second language acquisition, the stages of language acquisition- L1 and L2, the concept of second language and literacy Education, the difference between speech and writing, Second Language teaching pedagogy, Second language enriched teaching and learning. The focus of the course is on the target language of teaching and learning, which is English, therefore, students will be given the opportunity to explore the formal and functional grammar of English, and relevant topics under the practice of English teaching.
