The Faculty of Nursing Medicine and Health Science of SINU plays a major role in the political, physical, social, economic and spiritual development of Solomon Islanders. The school is committed to ensure all potential learners have a proper and fair opportunity to participate purposefully in their lifelong, recurrent education and training.
The School is committed to provide pre-service and in-service training for nurses and Allied Health professionals who staff the Rural Health Centres, Area Health Centres, Provincial Hospitals and the National Referral Hospital, faith-based hospitals and NGOs. The school in its planning is prepared to develop other Degree Courses and to convert units to Open Distance Learning for health workers working in remote areas or anyone who wants to work and study at the same time.
