Unit Title: Introduction to Climate Change and Weather
This unit teaches students the science of climate change and the importance of meteorology to understand and predict weather and climatic patterns. Students will examine the principles and practices of climate change risks, vulnerability assessment, and adaptation planning and mitigation measures supported by stakeholderβs engagement. Policy development and implementation at the international and national level will be examined in relation to both climate change and mitigation measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
