The Security Briefing Series is supported by a six-member advisory committee made up of Solomon Islander experts from academia and the public service. This governance structure ensures that the series remains grounded in local contexts, aligned with national priorities, and responsive to emerging regional challenges.
The Advisory Committee brings together diverse expertise and interests spanning security, governance, development, and public policy. Collectively, members provide strategic guidance on thematic priorities, support the editorial direction of the series, and help ensure the relevance, integrity, and quality of published outputs. Their involvement strengthens the seriesโ commitment to locally informed knowledge production while fostering connections between research, policy, and practice across the Solomon Islands and the wider Pacific region.
