The Department of Fisheries Studies (DFS) would like to inform all students of the units that will be offered in Semester 1, 2026. Please refer to the attached list of units for your information and planning.
Please note the following important updates:
• FIS420: Finfish Culture & Lab is normally offered in Semester 2. However, as many students only have this unit remaining to complete their studies, it will be offered in both Semester 1 and Semester 2, 2026. Lectures for this unit will be scheduled accordingly.
• FIS417: Shipboard Training will be offered this semester, and lectures will be scheduled as part of the Semester 1 program.
