Dr William Parairato

Dr. William Parairato is the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Corporate) at the Solomon Islands National University (SINU), bringing extensive experience in corporate governance, management, and education. He holds a PhD in Management and Public Administration with distinction from the University of the South Pacific, a Master of Management from Massey University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Public Administration from USP.

Dr. Parairato began his career in 1996 as a Business Studies Lecturer at SICHE (now SINU) and has since held senior roles across public and private sectors, including Manager of Administration at DBSI, Acting General Manager for the West Are’Are Constituency Shipping Company, and Managing Director of Frontier Consulting Services. His work spans strategic leadership, institutional reform, governance, finance, and operational sustainability.

He is also a committed educator and mentor, designing and delivering training programs in capacity building, human resource development, and corporate governance. Dr. Parairato continues to play a key role in strengthening institutions and governance systems across the Solomon Islands and the Pacific region.
