Background:

Marlon Houkarawa is a results-oriented leader with extensive experience in strategic management, operations, governance, and risk management. He has a Master of Business Administration from USP, a Master of Information Technology from Queensland University of Technology, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Science and Mathematics from USP

Marlon serves as a Management Advisor Operations at the Central Bank of Solomon Islands where he provides strategic and operational advice to all departments, and chairs various internal operational committees and task forces, including the Staff Training & Development Committee, Job Analysis & Evaluation Committee, and the Commemorative Currency Note Task Force.

He is also a Balanced Scorecard Master Professional, a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner in Project Management, and a certified Change Management Registered Practitioner; and possesses skills in IT network engineering and cybersecurity management.

Marlon’s expertise in strategic leadership, risk management, and governance make him a valuable asset to the SINU Council.
