Solomon Islands National University will be offering a three-day intensive course for mid-level leaders in security-related roles across SIG ministries.

This course is designed to:
✅ Review leadership styles and methods for higher-level roles
✅ Strengthen ethical decision-making skills
✅ Build collaboration and networks across ministries
✅ Provide experience in a whole-of-government environment
✅ Offer a micro-credential (stand-alone or credit pathway) within SINU’s Security program.

The training will feature tok stori sessions to share lived experiences, foster interagency understanding, and strengthen peacebuilding and mediation skills.

Learning outcomes include:
1️⃣ Understanding different leadership styles
2️⃣ Applying principles of ethical leadership
3️⃣ Leading effectively in teams and interdisciplinary settings
Minimum Entry Requirements:
• 5–10 years’ experience in a relevant SIG ministry, including team leadership
• English proficiency
• For the credit pathway: a tertiary degree
• For the non-credit pathway: completion of secondary school

🕒 Participation: 40 hours (27 hours class + preparation for assessed activities for credit students)
