Bachelor of Hospitality Business, Tourism and Event Management

The Bachelor of Hospitality Business, Tourism & Event Management (BHEM) is a double major program. This program is designed to create opportunities for employment in positions of responsibility and management within the hospitality, tourism and event industry, both domestically and overseas. At the same time, it equips students with a wide range of transferable skills that might be applied to other sectors such as fishery, forestry and agriculture and provides a sound platform for graduate study.

Admission Requirements


  1. Form 7 Leavers with a High GPA 3 or “B” average or higher grades majors in Geography, English and Math
  2. Form 6 (year 12) leavers with a GPA 3, majors in Geography, English and Math will be an advantage
  3. SINU graduates with Diploma qualifications across all Faculties and Institutes with GPA 3
  4. In-service individuals from Ministries, private sector, NGOs, tourism and hospitality businesses operators, and Community Organizations. Recognition of prior learning and transferability of skills with a minimum of 3 years work experience
  5. South Pacific Region-graduates from regional Colleges, Tertiary Institutions and Vocational Training Providers with relevant diplomas and degree programs, with high GPA
