Tourism and Hospitality staff recruitment is one of the major constrains for ITH. Our challenge is the ability to attract qualified educators with tourism and industry experience at the outset of their careers.
The debate over industry experience versus academic credentials for the faculty has been a challenge. Our preference is for a balance of both industry experience and academic credentials, so that faculty member can deliver the curriculum in a manner which enhances appropriate outcomes for students.
We also engage part time staff.
